After the yarn becomes a blanket, the kitties nap on it (good idea) with their mommy, a beautiful orange tabby kitty...and when the last page is turned their bed pops out of the last right in your face! See what I mean by lots of surprises? Unfortunately the bed is made of paper and too small to sleep in.
The story is kind of simple, but the pictures of the playing kitties, so fluffy and happy, made me miss my brothers and sisters. Thankfully, I have Banjo. He may be an old puss but he sure can run! And I licked him once, so I know he's MY Banjo.
I like this book a lot...though the yarn would be more fun if it were floppy instead of tied into the pages. I think little humans would like it even if they don't like to chase yarn and shove it in their mouths.
Todays Tip for CaCHuPs (Cat Children of Human People): We know everything can be a toy. Some things our humans don't want us to play with...but who's in charge here? I know it's hard, but...if there is something you want to play with that your human won't let you, practice patience. Sooner or later they will leave and leave it some place you can get to. Be creative! My Daddies keep the good toys on the top of the good-food-box in the food room. It's really tall. I just waited until they were out of the house and then jumped on the food-bowl-washer...and then up to the good-food-box! I got to play with Drooly Julie and Feather Thing and Pocket Mouse all at once! Patience and a good jump offer great rewards!
